An Expanding International Measurement Evaluation Programme - IMEP.
In previous certification work, IRMM has collaborated with the National Institute of Science and Technology (USA), University of Mainz (Germany), and Curtin University of Technology (Australia). With the growing interest for traceability and measurement uncertainty, and with the establishment of Metrology in Chemistry, the IMEP-concept can now expand. Regional coordination of partecipants , which was tried out with great satisfaction for Chile in IMEP-6,will be used to a larger extent. As the programme is broadened,the contacts with experts from various fields of science will increase.
