Il Progetto CEO-LaCOAST sul Monitoraggio dei Cambiamenti del Territorio nelle Aree Costiere Europee.
The aim of this project is to estimate quantitative changes of land cover and/or land use in European coastal zones especially due to human activities. When a change is observed, then the second part of the project consists in identifying and interpreting the factors responsible for the change itself. The customers for project LACOAST are DG XI and the EEA who require specific environmental change information to contribute to major report on the coastal zones of at the end of 1998. The project is coordinated by the Agricultural Information Unit (AIS) of SAI.
