Introduction
This article is the introductory article of an edited book on domestication of media and technology. The authors of the article are also the editors of the book. The article introduces and discusses the domestication approach. It also introduced the different contributions in the book and contains reflections on the future of domestication (outlook). In the latter, reference is made to EU and IPTS work on Ambient Intelligence.
