Embrittlement and Mechanistic Interpretation of Reactor Pressure Vessel and Internal Materials
The book "Embrittlement, Mechanistic Interpretation of Reactor Pressure Vessels and Internal Materials" is a collection of selected papers originated from the IAEA Technical Meeting on Irradiation Effects and Mitigation in Reactor Pressure Vessel and Reactor Internals, Gus Khrustalny, Russia, 24-28 May 2004. The speakers have been asked to supply a full paper version of the presentations given during the conference and the received papers have been peered reviewed and compiled by the editorial board.
The selected papers give a representative view of the recent developments in the field of radiation embrittlement and safety issues in plant life management related to the RPV and its internals.
The book is sub-divided into the following three main thematic areas:
1. Embrittlement Assessment and Mechanistic Interpretation
2. Surveillance Programs, Master Curve and PTS
3. Cladding and Austenitic Steels
