The Future of eLearning: Conclusions from the Stakeholders' Vision Roundtable

This short paper is the written version of the speech given at the eLearning Conference, a speech that summarised the discussions held during the stakeholders' vision roundtable. The paper highlights six issues that are important for the future of eLearning: (1) a new vision on eLearning; (2) multi-stakeholder involvement; (3) a holistic view; (4) combining economic and social objectives; (5) formal and informal learning and (6) missing issues at the conference (i.e. demographics and enlargement).
