European Agrophenology Meeting
MEETING OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the meeting are to assemble the main actors at institutional level on agro-phenology and to propose a common infrastructure to share data.
The meeting will welcome around 50 participants from Europe and provide overall review of the agro-phenology activities existing or conducted in the past in each of the European Countries. The meeting will permit to exchange experiences between participants and share questions.
Through presentations and posters sessions it will address the most important issues and challenges for the future, such as:
• State of the art of the activities and inventory of the existing data;
• Main uses and applications of agro-phenological data;
• Suitability to set-up a European Agro-phenology Network within the EPN and a related Data-base infrastructure;
• Definition of minimal standards in sampling and collecting data;
• Enlargement: particular emphasis will be dedicated to experiences in the accessing Countries;
• Implications with others European projects and activities;
