Problems around Soil and Waste I - Horizontal Aspects of Leaching
With its new workshop series "Problems around Soil and Waste" IES is highlighting aspects regarding those characterisation methods of soil and waste, which are relevant for existing or upcoming EU legislation. This report summarises the conclusions drawn concerning the issue of leaching as a possible tool to assess environmental properties of soils, wastes, construction materials and other solids in contact with water and potentially reaching the groundwater.
