The forthcoming application of Eurocode 8 necessitates experiment-based calibration of its design rules for the specific classes of buildings. The full-scale experimental tests make it possible to validate and develop concepts and numerical models, needed for the proper implementation of Eurocode 8 prescriptions in the research and future design practice. The paper deals with the experimental estimation of the seismic response of a cast-in-situ one-storey industrial frame designed according to Eurocodes. The experimental programme comprised pseudodynamic tests under seismic excitation with four different levels of peak ground acceleration. Problems connected with the interpretation of the experimental data and with the correct numerical simulation of the seismic response are discussed.
