The specific presentation was dealing with the EC's strategy for improving nuclear safety in Central Europe and the NIS, which was based on the G7 strategy adopted in Munich in 1992 and reflected the IAEA's classification of design and operational risks regarding nuclear Facilities. Beside this an overview was given on the achievements of the Tacis Nuclear Programme in the Russian Federation.
