The Neutron Data Measurement Facilities at EC-JRC-IRMM
For 45 years the IRMM has been engaged in the international nuclear data community via the OECD/Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) and its Working Party on Evaluation Co-operation (WPEC). IRMM scientists have been participating in the different committees of NEA. Many requests for neutron data measurements for reactor safety, waste transmutation, innovative concepts, standards and basic nuclear physics have been successfully tackled at the neutron sources available at IRMM. The neutron data have been included in the NEA Experimental Format (EXFOR) file and had generally large impact to the worldwide evaluation efforts in the past and will have in the near future (e.g. for ENDF/B-VII and JENDL4).
