Why Knowledge Assessment?
Knowledge Assessment is the name of our group at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission. It is also the subject of our work, devoted to the evaluation of knowledge inputs to decisions making process. Knowledge Assessment is not only a name, but a journey. It starts with an existential dissatisfaction with the state of affairs, it continues with awareness and a commitment, which is expressed in a programme of research and action.
