This report addresses the prospects of CO2 capture and storage (CCS) technologies in the power sector within the framework of the CASCADE MINTS project and using the POLES model. Three policy scenarios are compared in order to address the question how to achieve significant CO2 emission reductions through the application of CCS technologies.
