Measurement of Photon Mass Attenuation Coefficients of Plutonium from 60 to 2615 keV
Measurements have been made to determine plutonium photon mass attenuation coefficients by using a collimated-beam transmission method in the energy range from 60 to 2615 keV. These experimental results were compared with previous experimental and theoretical data. Good agreements are observed in the 240keV to 800keV energy range, whereas differences up to maximum 10% are observed out of these limits.
