Sensitivity Analysis of Physical/Operational Parameters in Neutron Multiplicity Counting
In this paper we perform a sensitivity study on the influence of various physical and operational parameters on the results of neutron multiplicity counting.
The purpose is to have a better understanding of the importance of each component and its contribution to the measurement uncertainty. Then we will be able to determine the optimal conditions for the operational parameters and for detector design and as well to point out weaknesses in the knowledge of critical fundamental nuclear data.
