Magnetic Structures in DyNi1-xCuxAl Pseudoternaries
The results of the neutron diffraction experiment preformed on the DyNi10xCuxAl compounds are presented. Contrary to expectations based on bulk data, the DyCuAl exhibits just one magnetic component of the magnetic moments what makes it different from the other boundary compound DyNiAl. Quite a different behavior of the compound with x 1/4 0.2 from that one of x 1/4 0.1 now confirmed previous bulk data. The loss of the long-range magnetic order for compounds around x 1/4 0.8 was observed. This scenario is in accordance with previously studied pseudoternary systems with antiferromagentic to ferromagnetic order transition.
