Temperature Dependent Kinetic Study of CO Desorption from Pt PEM Fuel Cell Anodes
The temperature dependence of the CO adsorption/desorption process on a commercial platinum Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) anode has been investigated using isotopic exchange experiments. Kinetic data for a range of temperatures from 25-150¿C have been obtained. The results are discussed with relation to the poisoning effect of CO on the PEM fuel cell anode.
