An Empirical Analysis of Social Computing
This paper presents an empirical and systematic assessment of the new and rapidly growing phenomenon of social computing, and attempts a prospective view towards the future of Social Computing (upcoming trends) . Finally, challenges associated with this analysis are identified directions for future research are suggested.
The paper is based on work carried out in 2007 IPTS Exploratory research (ERoSc).
