Online-Monitoring of Security-related Events
This paper presents a real-time and fully operational news event extraction system which is capable of accurately and efficiently detecting violent evens and natural and man-made disasters from online news in different languages without using much linguistic sophistication. The paper is accampanied bay an online demo, whicn is publicly accessible.
