|Abstract:||The paper explores those application areas at the convergence point between social computing and mobile platforms. Social Computing (SC) is defined as the range of digital applications for blogging, podcasting, collaborative content, social networking, multimedia sharing, social tagging and social gaming, that enable interaction, collaboration and sharing between users (Pascu et al, 2008 and 2007). The paper considers the mobile phone as the preferred mobile device for capturing social computing content at the 'point of inspiration'.|
