Circling the Education Data Globe
This chapter explores some of the best practices in the world in the collection, management and governance of education data with the aim of providing food for thought on the challenges of conceiving, explaining the need for and implementing a "Holy Grail" of education data - i.e. a "robust longitudinal data system." It includes snapshots of the current situations in Italy, England and Korea.
