The Chernobyl Accident. The Radioactive Contamination in the Lake Como and in Other Sites in Northern Italy

cover
AFTER THE CHERNOBYL ACCIDENT, THE FALL-OUT MEASUREMENTS IN THE NORTHERN ITALIAN REGIONS SHOW A DIRECT CORRELATION BETWEEN THE RAIN INTENSITY AND THE ECOSYSTEN CONTAMINATION. THE PRESENT ANALYSIS HAS BEEN EXTENDED OVER THE ALPINE TERRITORY AND IN THE PLAIN VENETO, LOMBARDY, EMILIA AND PIEMONT. LAKE COMO AND LAKE LUGANO REGIONS SHOW A HIGH RADIOACTIVITY LEVEL, AS HIGH AS IN OTHER EUROPEAN REGIONS MOST EXPOSED TO THE CHERNOBYL ACCIDENT CONTAMINATION
