Photovoltaics in China (Chapter 8)
Since 2005, the growth of the Photovoltaics Industry in China is outpacing the rest of the world propelling China to be the top producer of solar cells and modules. This is happening due to a strong industry support policy of the Chinese Government, which sees the Photovoltaics sector as one of the comming industries. Despite this industry support, the Chinese domestic market is still weak, but the latest economic stumuli packackes in China will probably change this.
