European Commission Member Update in the 2008 Annual Report of IEA Implementing Agreement on the Production and Utilization of Hydrogen

The EC contribution to the 2008 Annual Report of the IEA (International Energy Agency) HIA (Hydrogen Implementing Agreement) is under the Members Update section of the report. It discusses the recent figures of the EU in terms of population and GDP growth, but also energy-related statistics, the energy framework and relevant policies, along with an update on respective RD&D programmes and project highlights. Special mention is made to the FCH JTI and to the progress of the JRC/IE project under the Task 22 of IEA HIA.
