Technical assessment of the Renewable Energy Action Plans
The JRC Reference report is a summary of an analysis on the evaluation and overview of the National Renewable Energy Action Plans (NREAP) from the technical and resource feasibility point of view including the verification of comparability across member states, and consistency with the National Energy Efficiency plans.
The report summarize the results of the analysis on the
- evaluation about the foreseen national renewable energy targets related to availability renewable energy resources and in terms of technologies envisaged, with establishing an indicator-based assessment of targets.
- Comparison of the NREAP with the proposed National Energy Efficiency Plans, consistency checks and analysis by consumption type (electricity, heating & cooling, transport)
- Evaluation of how far the additional energy efficiency scenarios are taken into account to reach the national goals and trajectoriesThe goal of the analysis and the report was also to establishment of figures of merit for the baseline data which will serve internally to the Commission for further references and modelling, including economic impact.
