|Abstract:||The PESETA project makes a high-resolution integrated assessment of the ef f ects of climate change in Europe in the f ollowing impact categories: agriculture, riv er f loods, coastal sy stems, tourism and human health. Many relev ant methodological decisions underlie the multi-disciplinary assessment, such as the selection of the climate scenarios and the economic v aluation of the phy sical impacts. The main purpose of this article is to document the methodological f ramework of the PESETA project, identif y ing also where f urther research is required. How the dif f erent sources of uncertainty hav e been addressed in the project is explicitly analy sed, including the climate change scenarios and the v arious sectoral methodologies.|
