Abstract: The principles of Monte-Carlo based spectra modeling performed for the energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence measurements taken with Hybrid K-edge/K-XRF densitometer technique are highlighted. The results of experimental validation of the modeling approach are provided for the set of reference actinide solutions (thorium and uranium-plutonium samples), which are subject to the quantitative analysis carried out in the analytical laboratories of reprocessing plants.
