3rd International Conference on Nuclear Power Plant Management for Long term Operation (LTO): Conference Summary Report
This year’s PLiM conference (2012) focused on topical issues and the advances made in PLiM applications, particularly in the use of the PLiM techniques to support longer term operation (LTO), beyond the originally planned and licensed NPP service life. A major conclusion from the conference was that given the limited fiscal and human resources there are increasing needs to strengthen international cooperation and to ensure knowledge and best practices are shared and addopted throughout the global NPP community. The IAEA officers responsible for this publication was K.S.Kang of the Division of Nuclear Power and M. Lipar of the the Division of Nuclear Installation Safety.
