|Abstract:||The sustainability related to construction sector is one of the most analysed topic of last years, due to the strong impacts produced by constructions on the environment, the economy, and the society. Nowadays a sustainable construction is a multi-performance based “product” that should achieve not only the requirements of ordinary design but also the sustainability ones. In line with that, this paper presents a comparative assessment between two seismic resistant structures considering structural, economic and environmental performances in a holistic way throughout the whole life-cycle, with the aim to define the most advantageous one in terms of sustainability.|
