The article provides an overview of the state of play on the elaboration and review of BREFs under the Industrial Emissions Directive (2010/75EU). The contribution further explains under which conditions EU Member States participate to the elaboration/review of BREFs and in particular the system used in France. The article concludes by providing some hints on how to make the information exchange more useful.|
