Preface - Tenth International Workshop on Subsecond Thermophysics

The Tenth International Workshop on Subsecond Thermophysics was held in Karlsruhe, Germany, on June 26-28, 2013. It was organized by the Institute for Transuranium Elements of the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre. This was the latest in a series of well-established workshops on experimental, theoretical, and applied aspects of the thermophysical behavior of matter in the millisecond to picosecond time regime. The Workshop hosted fifty two participants representing twenty nine organizations in five EU countries, Canada, Japan, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine, and the USA.
