|Abstract:||This article will be send as a letter to the editiors to the International Journal of LCA and contributes to the discussion on the Environmental Footprint (EF) of products started by Professor Finkbeiner with his editorial published in this journal in February 2014. We thank Professor Finkbeiner for sharing his concerns and suggestions, as he puts forward some relevant points and opens a discussion that can help the Commission to improve the EF methods. It also allows us to clarify our communication activities and avoid possible misunderstandings related to the work carried out by the European Commission on EF.|
