Proving the SEURAT-1 Research Strategy

The third SEURAT-1 objective is the demonstration of proof-of-concept at multiple levels (theoretical, methodological, application). The understanding needed, to be able to apply a toxicological mode-of-action framework for chemicals safety assessment, can be split into three steps. This is described to set the scene for how case studies were selected and how they are can feed in information from one step to another. Further each of the on-goinf SEURAT-1 case studies are described in detail.
