Gobierno de la memoria digital: generación de confianza a través de la participación
The struggle for managing and controlling memories has shaped History. In the digital context but under assumption signs of memories’ democratisation, the struggle continues. Several actors, without unclear defined interests, self-attributed the role of digital legacy preservers, supplanting the role of archives, museums and libraries. Moreover, nowadays-growing institutional discredit, has put memory institutions in a delicate situation.
Digital memories governance presents ethical and social risks, but also provides opportunities for restoring trust in institutions through a new collaborative paradigm.
