OVERVIEW OF ADOPTED NATIONALLY DETERMINED PARAMETERS IN THE EUROCODES
This paper presents an overview of the Eurocodes Nationally Determined Paramenters (NDPs) adopted by EU and EFTA Member States and uploaded in Joint Research Centre Database. The results of a preliminary statistical analysis of the uploaded NDPs are discussed, showing that every three out of four recommended values were accepted by the countries. For specific NDPs, the analysis revealed that EN 1993 and EN 1998 are the Eurocodes having the highest divergences from the recommended values, in contrast to EN 1999 that presents an overall high level of convergence, closely followed by EN 1995. The causes of the largest divergences found in the NDP values of Eurocode 8 were investigated, aiming at contributing to the harmonization of the national choices and to reduction of the number of the NDPs in the next generation of Eurocodes.
