dc.description.abstractNER 300 is an EU funding programme for the demonstration of carbon capture and storage (CCS) and innovative renewable energy (RES) technologies at the pre-commercial stage. Knowledge sharing requirements are built into the legal basis of the programme as a critical tool to lower risks in bridging the transition to large-scale production of innovative renewable energy and CCS deployment. Projects have to submit annually to the European Commission relevant knowledge gained. The European Commission assesses the relevant knowledge with a view to establishing whether the project has adequately complied with its obligations. This report presents the methodology for the assessment of knowledge sharing obligations.en_GB
