This special issue of Applied Radiation and Isotopes with 102 articles devoted to the 6th international conference on Radionuclide Metrology – Low-level Radioactivity Measurements Techniques. The conference was organised by KRISS under the auspice and support of the ICRM low-level coordinator (Hult). Since the impact of low-level measurements has increased in recent years, the conference covers a fairly wide range of fields from environmental radioactivity, emergency response and fundamental physics. This issue contains a special session on measurements following the Fukushima accident in 2011. One paper Pages 383-392 by Povinec et al., was for long the most downloaded paper from ARI.
