Influence of Research on the Competitiveness of the Security Industry – An EU-US comparison
The study on the “influence of research on the competitiveness of the security industry in EU and the US” was carried out during a EU fellowship in Washington, DC’s George Mason University. The fellow has shared her time between the George Mason University and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This study was prepared in collaboration with NIST.
The analysis has shown that research can inluence the security industry by enhancing collaboration, by improving availability of experimental capabilities and by accelerating standardisation
