The world is moving towards a greener future. In the near future we will need to drastically increase the production of wind turbines, solar panels, electric vehicles and batteries. In this awareness-raising animation the Joint Research Centre addresses the issues related to materials needed for these technologies and proposes mitigation measures to increase the EU resilience to potential supply shortages.
