LifeComp. A European competence framework for better lives in our uncertain world
LifeComp, the European framework for the Personal, Social and Learning to learn Key competence, describes nine competences. Self-regulation, Flexibility and Wellbeing in the Personal area; Empathy, Communication, Collaboration in the Social area; Growth Mindset, Critical Thinking and Managing Learning in the Learning to Learn area.
Socioemotional and metacognitive competences are important for learners since they boost their academic success and wellbeing and their capacity to learn life-long and life-wide, which is key for thriving in our digital era.
Those competences are relevant for educators and schools since they contribute to increasing individual and community resilience.
