Disaster Risk Data Hub
The Risk Data Hub contains curated European-wide (EU, EFTA and IPA countries) disaster loss and risk data. The Disaster Risk Management Knowledge Centre (DRMKC) makes available a GIS web-platform, intended to improve the access and sharing of curated European-wide (EU, EFTA and IPA countries) risk data, tools and methodologies for fostering Disaster Risk Management (DRM) related actions.
The data hosted on the Risk Data Hub is divided in four modules: Exposure Analysis, Vulnerability Analysis (ongoing work), Risk Analysis (ongoing work) and Historical Events. The user can select within these modules the domain by multi-hazard, sector-structure (e.g. population, economy, area protected, built up space, infrastructure etc.) analysis and their attributes (the metrics of the domains, e.g. demographic metrics or intensities in the case of the hazards).
