A simple introduction to using experiments to evaluate consumer food waste interventions
Creating empirical evidence using rigorously implemented experiments is an important precondition to designing and administering effective interventions to reduce consumer food waste. This report outlines, in an accessible and practical manner, key concepts of behavioural experiments. This has the objective to support practitioners, policymakers and other interested parties in utilizing behavioural experiments to inform the design of food waste reduction interventions.
