The science for policy bulletin. Issue 3, January 2024
The January 2024 issue of the the Science for Policy Bulletin shares major developments in science for policy that occurred in 2023, highlighting initiatives at the EU and national levels. These developments include the adoption of Council Conclusions on strengthening the role of research and innovation in policymaking, a new Recommendation on citizen participation in public policymaking, the launch of the Futures4europe platform, and a workshop series on strengthening and connecting science-for-policy ecosystems across the EU. The European science-for-policy ecosystem has seen significant advancements and looks forward to continued collaboration and engagement in 2024.
