Habitat modelling of marine species derived from satellite data: technical aspects

This report provides a technical support (documentation) to the use of the habitat model of marine species. It describes in details the version 1 of the model. It includes data from two couples of satellite sensors for surface temperature and surface chlorophyll content to derive the habitat of bluefin tuna (feeding and spawning) and finback whale (feeding) The model has been calibrated and validated for these species in the Mediterranean Sea.
