TF HTAP’s 9th Annual Meeting
The Task Force on Hemispheric Transport Air Pollution (TF HTAP) is an international cooperative scientific effort to improve the understanding of the intercontinental transport of air pollution across the Northern Hemi- sphere. The TF HTAP was organized under the auspices of the Convention on Long Range Transboundary Air Pol- lution in 2005. The TF HTAP’s work programme for 2012-2016 addresses six themes: 1) development of emissions in- ventories and projections; 2) global and regional modeling of source-receptor relationships; 3) model to observation comparison and process evaluation; 4) assessment of impacts on health, eco- systems, and climate; 5) assessment of climate change on air pollution; and 6) development of a data network and anal- ysis tools.
